* Rape Crisis Domestic Violence Program Director
Appleseed Community Mental Health Center is seeking to fill a full time position of Program Director for the Safe Haven Domestic Violence Shelter. Looking for a highly skilled, energetic, creative individual with a proven track record of successful administrative, supervisory, and leadership abilities to direct and develop the agency’s Rape Crisis and Domestic Violence Safe Haven Program. Services include intervention, prevention and advocacy services to primary and secondary survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. The Director supervises Safe Haven staff, both paid and volunteer. In addition, this position is responsible for fund raising, grant writing and administration for all grants. The successful candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, the ability to manage staff, develop programs, recruit, train volunteers, and create procedures for rape prevention, intervention and related services. Must be able to interact successfully with community providers to provide direct services using good communication and computer skills.
