* School Liaison/Transitional Age Youth Liaison

Appleseed Community Mental Health Center, in collaboration with the county mental health board and county school districts, is seeking a part time, highly skilled social service professional to join our Youth and Family Team, working primarily in a school based setting.  This position will focus on helping children ages 16-24 make a successful transition to adulthood – focusing on their educational, employment, housing, and community life needs.  A Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, or related field required. Previous experience working with transitional age youth, parents, school, and social service professionals around behavioral, emotional, and cognitive issues in a social service or school based setting is preferred. Successful candidates must also display excellent communication, time management, networking, and innovative problem solving skills.  Must be a team player, highly flexible, highly accessible to students and teachers; capable of providing on-the-spot guidance, crisis intervention, and linkage with social supports.  This position is 32 hours per week during the school year and 20 hours per week during the summer.
