Plan a Vacation Day

Plan a Vacation Day

Today is national plan a vacation day. There is a connection between taking time away for relaxation and improved mental health. I heard a psychologist say that many people quit their jobs when all they really need is 3 weeks off. His point was that we need to get away from our stressors and give our minds time off. There are many free or low-cost options in our area such as The Cleveland Museum of Art, county park districts, state parks and beaches. Start by planning a long weekend. Turn your phone off and visit some of our local treasures. And see if it helps you feel less stressed.
