* Front Office Manager

At Appleseed Community Mental Health Center, Inc., we walk with families and individuals on their journey to live healthy, whole, and productive lives by offering comprehensive and integrated behavioral health, housing, outreach & prevention, substance use disorder, and victim services. To help accomplish this goal Appleseed is seeking to fill a full-time Front Office Manager position. Standard work hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Must be able to pass background check and drug test prior to employment.


  • Facilitates support staff hiring, orientation & training
  • Administers support staff schedules, approves time records & leave requests
  • Provides day to day coverage & instructions regarding customer service & business operations
  • Fills in and provides coverage as needed
  • Delegates & coordinates projects as needed
  • Oversees & monitors all support operations
  • Oversees financial registration
  • Collaborates with the Accounting Dept. to inform the person served regarding billing, insurance, payments, & fee subsidy
  • Schedules referrals & Dr’s telehealth appts. & collects payments
  • Orders & maintains agency supplies
  • Performs general banking duties
  • Responsible for taking board minutes and completing monthly board packets
  • Performs other duties as determined appropriate


  • Computer literate
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
  • Detail-oriented
  • Personable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks
  • Aware of the ethical and legal rights of persons served and staff
  • Ability to organize projects quickly and effectively
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Must pass driving record & background checks
  • Must pass drug test
