Appleseed offers training and educational services for professionals and businesses in our community.

Employee Assistance Program

Appleseed offers a contractual service to local businesses called “Wellness Partnership”. For a monthly fee based on the number of employees the service includes three outpatient counseling sessions to each employee, spouse and minor children, behavioral health education, 24 hour hotline, and assistance with managing human resource issues.

Critical Incident Stress Debriefing

• Designed to assist with the physical or psychological symptopns associated with a critical incident

• Debriefing and defusing for those involved to process emotions and thoughts associated with the event

• Promotes resiliency and recovery

• Less short-term and long-term crisis reactions or pyschological trauma

• Often occurs 24-72 hours after initial critical incident

Stress Management Training

• Designed to help professionals identify tools for effectively managing workplace stress

• Improves productivity and personal well-being

• Reduces negative organizational stress

• Improves team communication and morale

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Appleseed is an approved CEU provider for Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapists. Examples of training topics include: Motivational Interviewing, Ethics, Rural Mental Health, Family Trauma, Substance Use Disorder, Stalking, Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and more.
