Transitional Age Youth services are available to ANY Ashland County resident age 16-24. Community-based liaisons help participants reach their goals towards independence such Employment, Education, Living Situations, Personal Effectiveness and Wellbeing, and Community Life Functioning. Liaisons can transport  participants to appointments directly related to the person’s goals (such as the BMV to take the driver’s test.) The program also operates two apartments that help with transitioning from parent/guardian homes to their own apartment/homes. 

 

It’s very easy to sign up for this program and has no length requirements.

 

What this program is NOT…

• Counseling

• Anything to do with juvenile delinquency

• A mental health diagnosis
