National Day of Unplugging

National Day of Unplugging

March 3 is the National Day of Unplugging. It is a 24 hour period from sundown today to sundown tomorrow,  to carve out time to unplug, relax, reflect, be active, visit the outdoors, and connect with loved ones. Smartphone use and the 24-hour news cycle keeps us anxious and hypervigilant. Being occasionally anxious and hypervigilant is normal but when they occur day in and day out it is bad for our mind and body.

Today, Let's try something different. Take a break from the news and from your smartphone. And give our brain and body a time to restore.
