Handling Depression without Medication

A recent study found that 3.4% of Americans are suffering from some form of serious psychological distress*. Often this distress is in the form of clinical depression.   Often people turn to antidepressants or other medications to help them feel better. The reality is; however, that there are many things people can do to overcome depression that does not involve medication. These types of interventions have been around for years and involve lifestyle changes or regularly practiced disciplines that help us cope with the bad things that happen in our lives. Come to Appleseed CMHC on May 2, 2017 from 5:30 PM -6:30PM and learn about some of the non-pharmaceutical interventions you can use to help manage depression.
