Counselors may also identify traumatic experiences from your past, such as a divorce, abuse, substance use, job loss, or family member's death that affects your mental health today to help you work through these events and regain control over your life.

  • Depression.
  • Sleep issues.

  • Stressful or traumatic memories.
  • Challenging family relationships.
  • Chronic anxiety.
  • Lack of motivation.

Counseling Techniques

Depending on the scope of your problem, our counselors may use therapy techniques to identify unconscious conflicts that arise as emotional problems in the present. Techniques may include Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Integrated Family and Systems Treatment. Resolution and healing is accomplished by talking through the experience and using coping techniques and skills for solving problems.
